Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Nitin Muchhadiya ("I", "me"), operating Remote Jobs by Nitin at remotejobsbynitin.com, collects when you use this website or buy a service, why it's collected, and what control you have over it. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

What I collect

• Contact details you send me by email or WhatsApp: your name, email address, phone number and anything you write in your message.
• Career documents you share for a service: your resume, cover letters, LinkedIn profile link, job descriptions and interview details.
• Payment confirmation details such as transaction ID and amount. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by the payment provider and never reach me.
• Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, collected by the hosting provider in server logs for security and reliability.

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are and what device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies to do this. It does not receive your name, email, WhatsApp number or payment details. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

It also uses Inspectlet to record anonymous sessions and heatmaps (mouse movements, clicks and scrolling) so I can see where the site is confusing and improve it. The booking form and your payment details are excluded from these recordings. This website does not use advertising cookies.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and agree on the scope and price of a service.
• To deliver the service you paid for, including calls and document reviews.
• To issue invoices and keep records required by Indian tax law.
• To keep the website secure and working.

I don't sell, rent or share your information for marketing. I don't send newsletters unless you ask.

Who it's shared with

Only the services needed to run this business: the email and messaging providers we use to talk, the payment gateway that processes your payment, the video call tool used for sessions, Google Analytics and Inspectlet for anonymous usage statistics, and the hosting provider for this website. Each processes data only for that purpose. I may also disclose information if Indian law requires it.

How long I keep it

Career documents and messages are kept for 12 months after your last service so you can come back for updates, then deleted. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to:

• Tell you what personal information I hold about you.
• Correct anything that's wrong or out of date.
• Delete your information, except records I'm legally required to keep.
• Withdraw consent you gave earlier.

Security

Your documents are stored in access-controlled accounts with two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

Changes to this policy
